MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. NOTE: Your order MUST be placed on our website, we do not accept telephone orders, you are welcome to place your order online and then telephone us with the order number along with your card payment. (NOTE: We are unable to accept large payments over the telephone due to card issuer restrictions.)

We no longer accept payments by cheque (due to the high number of bad cheques received).

Payments Via Paypal

Due to huge demand from customers we now accept Paypal as an optional payment method. However the Paypal payment notification is only about 99% accurate. There are instances when the correct payment signals do not travel between the customers PC, Paypal systems and HSD Servers. These are sometimes caused by different delivery addresses or email addresses being used, at other times by delays in the Paypal checkout. In the rare instances that we do not receive payment notification from Paypal, we are unable to refund any delivery charges due to late dispatch.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

The main reason we have grown so fast is down to our fast order processing and dispatch, we ALWAYS email tracking information on evening of dispatch (for Royal Mail and Courier orders). The simple fact is, if you order from us using courier delivery service before 3.00 pm (sometimes even later), you normally receive your goods on the next working day.

In the event that any of our goods are listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, error in pricing information from our suppliers or due to any omission on our behalf or for any other reason whatsoever, we shall have the right to refuse to accept any order from you or to cancel any order received from you based on the incorrect price whether or not the order has been accepted. In either event we reiterate that an order will only be accepted by us as a legally binding contract once the goods ordered by you have been dispatched to you by us.

TAX CHARGES

All our prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card processing is handled by Paypal. Paypal are approved by all High St Banks due to their high security encryption. Paypal are integrated into our site.
